All drivers carrying dangerous goods within the scope of The Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations require a Vocational Training Certificate (VTC) issued by Scottish Qualifications Authority.

The VTC is issued once a driver has satisfactorily completed an approved course.

An ADR certificate is valid for 5 years.

Duration: 3 Days

Forklift refresher training designed for experienced operators, with 7 hours CPC training (MHE 1 2024).

Course Objective: On completion of the forklift training the trainee will be expected to have gained a level of counterbalance operating skill which complies with the standards described in the HSE ACoP L117 (1999)

Course Outline
This is a theoretical and practical course of structured tuition to ITSSAR standards.

The theoretical and practical training covers the following elements:

•Safety awareness and appreciation of the hazards involved in machine operation,
•Identify and comply with manufacturer’s instruction.
